Mr. Schneider has been conducting since the age of 19 and has led orchestras and choruses in performances of choral masterworks in both his academic and professional life since his early 20’s.

In demand as a choral adjudicator and clinician, Mr. Schneider has prepared choirs and coached conductors at regional events of the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA).  He has conducted choirs in The United Kingdom, Austria, Italy, Ukraine, Russia, Estonia, Israel, Jordan, and Palestine.  Mr. Schneider has sung with numerous nationally known choral ensembles: Los Angeles Master Chorale, Pacific Chorale, Vocal Arts Ensemble of Cincinnati, and May Festival Chorus; and has sung under the baton of Zubin Meta, JoAnn Falletta, Dale Warland, Joseph Flummerfelt, John Alexander, Paul Salomunovich, Roger Wagner, Elmer Thomas, John Leman, and Earl Rivers.  He has prepared choruses for John Alexander, Dale Warland, Elmer Thomas, Earl Rivers, and John Leman.

Ed Schneider was the founding Artistic Director of Sacre Voci, a 16-voice community chamber choir specializing in early sacred polyphony and modern works for chamber choir.  Sacre Voci sang concerts in and around the Atlanta area and developed a reputation of excellence.  Under Ed’s leadership, his choirs have sung successive years and to great acclaim at the prestigious Piccolo Spoleto Arts Festival in Charleston, SC.

Edward Schneider, conductor, music director

Born and raised in Los Angeles, CA, Mr. Schneider attended St. John the Baptist de la Salle and Alemany High School.  He earned a Bachelor of Music in voice and woodwinds, as well as a Masters of Music in conducting from California State University, Northridge and studied for his DMA in Choral Conducting and Sacred Music with a full scholarship and assistantship at the University of Cincinnati-College Conservatory of Music.
