Mr. Schneider is a director of music and worship arts with national-caliber conducting experience in both choral and instrumental music. He has a record of leading large, traditional sacred music programs in prominent church settings with a proven ability to build and inspire volunteer choirs, elevate choral artistry, and integrate sacred music into liturgical worship that is engaging and vibrant. He is known for building strong volunteer music ministries that combine high artistic standards with a deeply engaged and supportive community. Mr. Schneider also brings executive-level leadership qualities with an Executive MBA in leadership, strategy, finance, and organizational development.

Mr. Schneider has prepared choirs and coached conductors at regional American Choral Directors Association (ACDA) events and has conducted ensembles internationally across the U.K., Europe, and the Middle East. As a professional tenor, he has sung with numerous nationally recognized choral ensembles, including the Grammy-winning Los Angeles Master Chorale and Pacific Chorale, and the Vocal Arts Ensemble of Cincinnati. Mr. Schneider has worked with distinguished conductors such as Zubin Mehta, JoAnn Falletta, John Rutter, Dale Warland, Joseph Flummerfelt, John Alexander, and Paul Salomunovich.

 

Ed Schneider was the founding Artistic Director of Sacre Voci, a 16-voice community chamber choir specializing in early sacred polyphony and modern works for chamber choir.  Under Ed’s leadership, Sacre Voci sang for successive years and to great acclaim at the prestigious Piccolo Spoleto Arts Festival in Charleston, SC.​​

 

Born and raised in Los Angeles, CA, Mr. Schneider earned a Bachelor of Music in voice and woodwinds and a Master of Music in conducting from California State University, Northridge. He studied for his Doctorate of Musical Arts in Choral Conducting and Sacred Music with a full scholarship and assistantship at the University of Cincinnati-College Conservatory of Music. He is currently completing an Executive MBA at Georgia State University (May 2026, Summa cum laude), further strengthening his leadership capabilities in complex ministry settings.
